Women's Golf September 15, 2026 Hannah Lax Lady Mustangs Finish Ninth at Texas Intercollegiate WEATHERFORD, Texas – The University of the Southwest Lady Mustangs wrapped up competition at the Texas Intercollegiate on Tuesday at Hawks Creek Golf Club, finishing ninth overall in the team standings after three rounds of play over two days. Southwest posted team scores of 339 (+51) and 329 (+41) during Monday's opening two rounds before carding a 345 (+57) in Tuesday's final round to finish at 149-over-par for the tournament. The Lady Mustangs placed ninth in a field that included Weatherford College, McLennan Community College, Texas Wesleyan and several other NAIA and junior college programs. Leading the way for Southwest was Sophia Vidal, who finished 28th overall after recording rounds of 81, 80 and 82 for a 54-hole total of 243 (+27). Vidal was the Mustangs' top finisher in all three rounds and produced the team's lowest tournament score. Gabrielle Perez placed 46th with a three-round total of 255 (+39).
