CHEYENNE – Laramie County Events Director Dan Ange will conclude his tenure with Laramie County after more than seven years leading the development and growth of the county’s Events Department and event facilities.
Ange was hired in 2019 as the first director of the newly created Laramie County Events Department.
During his tenure, the department established new operational systems and procedures, opened and developed the Event Center at Archer, expanded programming throughout the events complex, and helped guide the Laramie County Fair through a period of significant transition and growth.
“When I accepted this position seven years ago, we were building something new,” Ange said in a news release. “I’m incredibly proud of the growth and success I’ve been fortunate to be a part of, and I’m proud of the foundation our team has built. I’m optimistic about the path forward for the department and excited to see how it continues to grow in the years ahead.”
