MADISON — Memorial services for Linda L. Adams, 82, of Wisner, formerly of Madison, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church in Madison. The Rev. Patrick McLaughlin will officiate, with inurnment at St. Bernard Cemetery in rural Lindsay.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with a Nebraska Nurse Honor Guard Service starting at 9:30 a.m., followed by a rosary. Resseguie Funeral Home in Madison is in charge of the arrangements.
Linda Adams died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, at Wisner Care Center in Wisner.

Linda was born June 23, 1944, in Hastings to Neal and Dorothy (Keckler) Hankenson. After moving to Madison, Linda worked as a secretary for a local insurance agent, and then at the nursing home in Madison. Eventually, she earned her nursing home administrator’s license. Later on, Linda went back to school and received her Registered Nurse degree from Northeast Community College in Norfolk.
On June 4, 1994, Linda married Donald Adams at Trinity United Methodist Church in Madison.
Linda enjoyed visiting with family and friends and crosswords.
