Local talent to compete at Badlands Circuit Finals in Minot

MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - The All Seasons Arena is hosting the 51st annual Badlands Circuit Finals Rodeo this weekend. Local talent will be facing competitors from across the Dakotas.

Carson Hildre of Velva and Ben Kramer of Max are bareback riders competing against the top 12 in the circuit. To qualify for this event, they needed to attend 13 rodeos and make the most earnings in the season.

At this event, everyone competes three times, on Friday and Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon. Winners are determined after the rodeo ends on Sunday afternoon.

This is Kramer’s 5th year competing in the circuit, and he is 2nd in the Badlands Circuit this season. He is currently ranked #38 in the world in bareback riding.
