Local Volunteer Ronda Heinbuch to Lead 2025 Oxcart Days Grand Parade

Ronda Heinbuch, a dedicated community volunteer from New Richmond, was initially hesitant to accept the honor of being named this year's Grand Marshal for Oxcart Days. Despite her reservations, she was ultimately proud to be recognized and will participate in the Grand Parade on August 17, as the town celebrates its annual event from August 14 to 17. Heinbuch has played a significant role in the local community, founding the Star Prairie Community Club in 2014 and actively volunteering with Rise, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities through various services across Minnesota and western Wisconsin. She looks forward to enjoying live music and the Youth Baseball tournament during the festivities. Heinbuch emphasizes that volunteering keeps her engaged and provides valuable opportunities to connect with others, noting, "Star Prairie is a small community. When you're trying to organize stuff, it helps having volunteers that will help and doing stuff for the community only brings people together."
