The Lockport City School District will celebrate Homecoming Day on Saturday. This annual celebration is full of Lockport pride for the many students, families, staff members, alumni and community members who make the Lockport school community special.
The day will begin at 9 a.m. at Lockport High School with the National Anthem and an opening show, followed by the 42nd annual Powder Puff Game at 9:30 a.m. During the annual two-hand touch football game, junior and senior women will take the field while members of the Lockport Lions JV and Varsity football teams cheer them on from the sidelines. The longtime Homecoming tradition brings students, athletes and the school community together for a fun start to the day.
