LØLØ and former tourmate ELLA RED have released a new recording of ‘delusional darling’, following their European live performances together.
LØLØ has released a new version of ‘delusional darling’ featuring ELLA RED, turning a song from her second album into a collaboration with the artist who joined her onstage during her European headline tour. The recording arrives alongside a new video.
The original ‘delusional darling’ appeared on LØLØ’s April album ‘god forbid a girl spits out her feelings!’, released via Fearless Records. Its new iteration brings ELLA RED into a song about realising that affection cannot change somebody else’s behaviour, however tempting it might be to ignore the warning signs.
“For better or for worse, I’m one of the most delusional people I know,” LØLØ says. “I like to believe the best in people, even when there are giant, flashing red flags telling me otherwise. ‘delusional darling’ is a satirical, over exaggerated take on every girl who’s ever tried to justify an asshole’s bad behavior.
