Luis Hernandez is still fresh off his UFC debut, but veteran fighter Chris Curtis already wants a piece of him. The 30-year-old middleweight isn’t backing down from the challenge.
Hernandez secured two submission victories in just 11 days, including a 57-second stoppage of Sedriques Dumas at UFC Vegas 121 on September 26. He took that fight on only two days’ notice after earning his UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series less than two weeks earlier.
Curtis, who holds a 6-5-1 record in the UFC, released a video calling out Hernandez earlier this week. The 39-year-old veteran promised to “fold this man up like a cheap suitcase” when they meet.
