After an overtime victory against Crescent in the first week of the season, Lummi Nation looks to make its second straight postseason this fall. The Blackhawks are led by a handful of its talented basketball players.
Senior quarterback Landon LaFontaine threw the game-winning touchdown to sophomore wide receiver Mason Revey, while juniors Greg Hawk and Hooper Toby-Williams also played pivotal roles on both sides of the ball. Lummi also has senior Michael Wilson highlighting the offense as a utility player. In the eight-man football scheme, Wilson has played quarterback, running back, wide receiver and linebacker.
Muckleshoot has opened its season with a pair of losses, in which they have allowed 137 points. The Kings have not had a winning season since 2022 and look to have another rough year ahead.
With a talented squad, home-field advantage and a coaching staff eager to return to the playoffs, Lummi should dominate this game from first to final whistle.
