Princeton-based Made Scientific has acquired an 85,000-square-foot clinical- to commercial-scale cell therapy manufacturing facility in East Norriton, Pennsylvania, expanding the company’s U.S. East Coast GMP manufacturing network.
The company said the transaction, completed Sept. 18, gives Made Scientific an operational facility from National Resilience that can begin onboarding client programs immediately. The site is intended to support clinical and commercial supply for cell therapy sponsors, including programs preparing for 2027 supply needs.
The East Norriton facility and its manufacturing team have completed 145 GMP batches across multiple autologous and allogeneic programs, including CAR-T and B-cell therapies, according to the company.
Made Scientific said the acquisition gives clients additional regional manufacturing options and reduces transition risk as therapies move from late-stage development toward commercial launch.
