Maersk will introduce a planned winter blank sailing programme on its Canada Atlantic Express service from October 2026.
The carrier will suspend one sailing every fifth week during the winter months. Maersk said the programme aims to reduce the impact of severe North Atlantic weather on schedule reliability.
