Man found bleeding from head after reports of disorderly conduct in Harrisonburg

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - A man was taken to the hospital Sunday after reports of disorderly conduct in Harrisonburg, according to police.

The Harrisonburg Police Department responded to the Sharp Shopper parking lot on South Main Street for reports of a disorderly conduct incident in progress early Sunday morning, according to an HPD release. When officers arrived, HPD said, they found one male victim bleeding from the head.

The man was originally taken to Sentara RMH Medical Center for treatment, but he was later brought to UVA Medical Center “due to the extent of his injuries,” HPD said.

The investigation remains active, and HPD detectives are still working to gather more information and identify suspects.
