MENTOR, Minn. — A man was taken into custody after a shooting incident in Polk County, Minnesota.
According to a release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred shortly before 3 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, at 32300 110th Ave. SE in Mentor. The release said that when deputies arrived, a male victim — Shawn Alan Qualley, 55 — was identified. He was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Leslie Manford Anderson, 79, was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston. The investigation is ongoing.
Agencies assisting in the case include Polk County EMS, White Earth Police, Clearwater County Sheriff's Department and the Minnesota State Patrol.
