The family of a husband and father-of-three who's believed to have jumped off a Carnival cruise ship during a wedding anniversary trip with his wife have spoken out.
Thomas Gigler, 56, was on the cruise ship sailing from Mexico to California to celebrate his 15th wedding anniversary with his wife Michelle, 48.
Reports state that six days into the trip, Thomas went missing, so Michelle asked staff onboard to help.
Thomas' name was called out on the ship’s public address system to no avail. Staff ultimately decided to send passengers to their rooms at 3:30pm so they could conduct a thorough onboard search.

However, there was still no sign of Thomas, so staff onboard decided to comb through hours of security footage, and found what appeared to be the moment he allegedly jumped overboard when the ship was just off the coast of Baja California.
The US and Mexican Coast Guard have been involved in the search efforts, though Thomas has not been found as of yet.
Thomas is understood to have jumped from the 11th deck of the ship and is now presumed to have died as a result.
