WAUPUN — Marsh Haven Nature Center will host its annual Hops at Marsh Haven beer walk from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 10.
The event will feature craft beer tastings from six Wisconsin breweries: Fifth Ward Brewing Company, Shattered Glass Brewery, Hoya Hop House Brewing, Hillsboro Brewing Company, Hubbleton Brewing Company and Knuth Brewing Company.
Each ticket includes a commemorative 8-ounce mason jar for sampling beer from the participating breweries. Nonalcoholic options will be available at each station for half-price admission.
Guests also will have access to the Marsh Haven museum and nature trails. Lanterns will light the trails after sunset, and fire pits will be available for guests to gather around.
DD’s Mile High BBQ food truck will serve barbecue, gyros, smash burgers and other food for purchase.
Tickets cost $40 in advance and $45 at the door. Attendance is limited to 200 people. Marsh Haven members can receive discounted or free admission, depending on their membership level.
If beer remains at the end of the event, raffle tickets will be sold for a mix-and-match six-pack. Participants must purchase an event ticket to enter the raffle.
