PULLMAN -- One of the most intriguing aspects of Washington State's home opener vs. Duquesne on Saturday has nothing to do with what takes place on the field. It's about what's going to happen in the stadium. A long list of improvements were made to Martin Stadium over the last year and during a student pep rally on Tuesday, those improvements were shown off to the student body.
In addition, it was announced that all students would receive free tickets to Saturday's game.
It's a 12:30 p.m. kickoff. Attendance could be a question with an 0-2 team and an FCS opponent in town, so WSU is making the proactive choice to try and increase attendance.

Among what was demonstrated on Tuesday was the new PA system, the flickering lights in the stadium -- both with normal tint and with crimson tint -- and the new video board, complete with hype videos.
