HARRISON, N.J. – New York Red Bulls II midfielder Abdellahi Nasser Dine has been called up to the Mauritania Under-23 men’s national team for the 2027 U-23 AFCON Qualifiers, the federation announced on Friday.
The 20-year-old was acquired on April 10 on a one-year loan deal from Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
He is a part of the Football Federation of Islamic Republic of Mauritania’s youth academy, where he has played in competitions such as Africa’s Cup 2025.
At the international level, Nasser Dine has four appearances for U-20 Mauritania, logging 107 minutes played.
The Mauritania U-23 squad will battle the its Democratic Republic of the Congo counterparts twice during the September/October international window. They side host on Sept. 28 before the away match on Oct. 6.
