Meta’s jump followed growing enthusiasm surrounding Muse, the company’s recently launched personal AI agent. The app has climbed to the top of Apple’s U.S. free-app rankings, suggesting that Meta may already have a consumer hit on its hands. Unlike traditional chatbots, Muse can perform tasks for users, including sending emails, booking travel, filling out forms, and making online purchases.
CrowdStrike’s gain came as cybersecurity stocks benefited from expectations that autonomous AI systems could create additional security requirements. More capable agents can interact with corporate applications, credentials, and sensitive information, potentially expanding the number of digital access points organizations must protect. That prospect has supported investor interest in cybersecurity providers offering endpoint, identity, and cloud protection services.
