Microscreen, a U.S. manufacturer specializing in high-precision SMT solder stencils and custom tooling solutions, is heading to Guadalajara this October, joining SMTVYS Technology in Booth 234 at the SMTA Guadalajara Expo & Tech Forum, Oct. 7-8 at Expo Guadalajara Salón Jalisco Hall D & E.
As more electronics manufacturing moves into Mexico, the show gives Microscreen a chance to meet face-to-face with customers in the region and talk through the stencil and printing issues they are seeing on their lines. Sharing the booth with SMTVYS also means those conversations don’t end when the show does, with local technical support available to customers in Mexico.
At Booth 234, the focus will be on stencils and the print process, including laser-cut production stencils, step stencils, mini stencils, chemically etched stencils and MicroGlide nanocoating.
One area the team expects to spend time discussing is solder paste release, particularly as components and apertures get smaller. MicroGlide Platinum is Microscreen’s advanced heat-fused nanocoating designed to reduce paste adhesion to the stencil and improve release from the apertures.
