Motorcycle rider critically hurt in crash near Spanish Fork US-6 interchange

SPANISH FORK, Utah (KUTV) — A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash involving an SUV on southbound Interstate 15 near milepost 128 in Spanish Fork, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

Officials said the motorcyclist was flown by helicopter to Utah Valley Hospital.

The Utah Department of Transportation said two left lanes were blocked near the US-6 interchange.

The road was expected to partially reopen at 6:30 p.m., with an estimated clearance time of 9:18 p.m.
