Motorcyclist injured after tire falls off truck on Rocky Fork Road

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Aiden Odell was driving his motorcycle on Rocky Fork Road in Kanawha County when a spare tire fell off a truck, hit the car in front of him, and struck Odell as he tried to swerve, throwing him off his bike.

“The last thing I remember is seeing a tire, and I woke up down over in the creek,” Odell said.

Odell said he suffered a broken left hand, a broken right wrist, road rash on his knee, road rash on the side of his stomach, road rash on the back of his neck and shoulder, and a concussion.
