NAPPANEE — Thinking ahead to colder weather, work to repair or replace two boilers was approved by the board at Monday afternoon’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.
The board approved replacing a boiler at the old Central School building/Main Street Suites. Mayor Phil Jenkins said they installed new boilers eight years ago and one of the boilers has an issue with the exhaust rusting so it needs to be replaced. They obtained two quotes and Jenkins suggested they go with the quote from Yoder-Stutzman Plumbing and Heating for a cost of $12,532.
