NBC has officially renewed its popular summer competition series, "American Ninja Warrior," for an 18th season, featuring the return of the world's most challenging obstacle course and beloved hosts Matt Iseman, Akbar Gbajabiamila, and Zuri Hall. Filming will take place in Las Vegas starting this fall.
Building upon its reputation for intense athleticism and dramatic moments, the upcoming season will introduce an innovative three-lane racecourse, allowing three contestants to compete simultaneously side-by-side. This new format aims to heighten the excitement and showcase the elite skills of the athletes.
Continuing the high-energy racing format from Season 17's National Finals, the season will conclude with a thrilling race for a $250,000 grand prize. Casting for Season 18 is currently underway, with former contestant Pamela Price, who competed in Season 11, among those possibly returning.
