The Prairie Wolves totaled five shots on goal but were unable to find the back of the net. Nebraska Wesleyan goalkeeper Christian Lindseth was tested early as Colorado College put its first shot on goal in the fourth minute. Lindseth made the save to keep the Tigers off the board. Lindseth made three saves in the opening half, including a stop on a shot from Arlo Sollinger in the 17th minute.
