Netherlands-based horticultural supplier Nieuwkoop has introduced the LX1400 PAR light spectrum meter, a user-friendly device designed to give growers and consultants a clear, direct view of the full light spectrum produced by LED fixtures.

With the LX1400, Nieuwkoop aims to put advanced measurement technology within easy reach of consultants and growers, allowing them to visualize and substantiate light performance data. A data export function lets users run further analysis on a computer using the free software included with the device.
According to Nieuwkoop, the tool is intended to help customers make better, data-driven decisions in their lighting strategy.
