Nic Nemeth Beats Matt Hardy, Retains World Title On TNA Impact

Nic Nemeth remains your TNA World Champion, beating Matt Hardy in a No DQ match on this week’s TNA Impact. The main event of Thursday night’s episode had Nemeth putting his title on the line against Hardy, a bout that lasted almost 13 and a half minutes.

The match saw Hardy fight Nemeth aggressively, seeking not only the title but revenge for Jeff Hardy who was laid out a couple of weeks ago. Nemeth was able to battle back from a couple of close calls for him though, and the finish saw him first get a nearfall after a low blow, then hit Hardy with a wrench for the pinfall to retain the title.

You can see clips from the TNA Impact match below. Nemeth has been TNA World Champion for 75 days, having defeated Mike Santana for the title at TNA Slammiversary.
