Noblesville-based arts nonprofit Noblesville Creates is launching a new event focused on economic and business development.
Shaping up to be the organization’s primary fundraiser of 2026, the inaugural Creative Economy Pitch Night will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 22 at Conner Prairie in Fishers, 13400 Allisonville Rd.
Eight presenters representing different corners of Indiana’s creative economy will pitch ways creativity can drive economic development, strengthen communities and build Hoosier pride. The presenters are Cory Constantine; Ros Demaree of Indiana Artisan; Rachel Kavathe; Cairo Morada; Nica Post; Eric Thornbury; Marianne and Caroline Vogt; and Katina Washington.
Ideas will explore topics ranging from incorporating artists into planning and development, to public art, needed creative spaces, place-defining events and new ways to celebrate Hamilton County’s artistic identity. A panel of regional leaders will evaluate the pitches and select a winner, who will receive a cash prize along with donated professional services to help advance their idea.
The audience will help decide which ideas deserve to move forward by casting votes for their favorite presenters.
