Nonprofit opens new 70,000-square-foot headquarters in Sharonville

SHARONVILLE, Ohio (WKRC) - People Working Cooperatively has opened a new 70,000-square-foot headquarters in Sharonville that leaders say will help the nonprofit expand home-repair services across Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky.

The facility sits on 14.2 acres and brings the organization’s offices, workstations, warehouse, trucks, tools and training space under one roof.

People Working Cooperatively provides critical home repairs, weatherization and accessibility modifications for low-income homeowners, including veterans, older adults and people with disabilities.

The new building includes a 20,000-square-foot warehouse, more than 5,000 square feet of workstations, office space and a community room. PWC said the location’s access to major highways will help crews and supplies move more efficiently throughout the region.

PWC President Jock Pitts said the consolidated space will improve training, deliveries, storage and coordination among staff and volunteers.

The nonprofit, founded in 1975, provides more than 8,000 services annually.
