Nordex SE (NRDXF.PK), a wind turbine manufacturer, on Monday said it has received a 34-megawatt order from EEF Erneuerbare Energien Fabrik GmbH for the Rauschenberg wind farm in Hesse, Germany.
Under the order, Nordex will supply and install five N175/6.X turbines, each with a capacity of 6.8 megawatts, on towers with a hub height of 199 metres. The order also includes a 20-year Premium Service contract.
Delivery and installation are scheduled to begin at the end of 2027 as part of a repowering project. The five new turbines will replace the existing 3-megawatt turbines, while the number of turbines at the site will remain unchanged.
The repowering is expected to significantly increase electricity generation from summer 2028.
In March 2026, Nordex had received its first order for three N175/6.X turbines with the same 199-metre hub height for a project in North Rhine-Westphalia.
