The North Carolina Propane Education and Research Foundation (NCPERF), collaborating with the Southeast Propane Alliance Technical Education Center (SEPATEC), initiated a comprehensive customer service representative (CSR) training series across the state. The program took place from July 15 to 18, aiming to bolster the skills of propane industry professionals.
Led by Susan Janett, training director at Warm Thoughts Communications, the sessions traveled through four key cities: Greenville, Raleigh, Graham, and Asheville. Each location hosted two interactive training workshops daily, focusing on empowering frontline staff to deliver outstanding customer service, foster stronger client relationships, and enhance operational productivity.
The initiative attracted substantial participation, with 66 CSR personnel from various companies participating throughout the four days. "Our goal was to ensure every customer interaction adds value and cultivates loyalty," Janett explained. "Customer service is vital to every propane business. It’s about building trust, addressing issues promptly, and making customers feel valued, whether they have questions or urgent needs."
