It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the passing of Steven Headden Young, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 65 following complications related to advanced liver disease.
Steve was born on July 30, 1961, at St. Thomas Hospital in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Throughout his life, he called many places home, including California and Florida, before eventually returning to the Nashville area and spending his more recent years in Brentwood, Tennessee, where he helped care for his beloved sister, Sharon, and mother, Nancy.
Steve was a loving father to four daughters, a grandfather, a devoted son and brother, an incredible friend, a successful businessman, a caregiver, an adventurer, and so much more to the many people fortunate enough to know him. He is survived by his four daughters, whom he loved dearly; his sister, Sharon; his brother, David; and the many family members and friends whose lives he touched.
