The Ohio men's basketball team has completed its 2026-27 nonconference schedule, head coach Jeff Boals announced Tuesday. The Bobcats will play five nonconference opponents at home, while also making a trip to Purdue and competing in the 2026 Jacksonville Classic.
"We are excited to announce our non-conference schedule for the 26-27 season, headlined by a trip to Mackey Arena to face Purdue," Boals said. "With the MAC season starting in December, we wanted a mix of games to help build our chemistry with nine new players on our roster. There is no doubt that we have the best fans in the MAC and we look forward to seeing you in the Convo soon."
The season begins on Monday, Nov. 2 on the road at South Alabama for the MAC-SBC Challenge.
Ohio returns to Athens on Saturday, Nov. 7 for the home opener with the Bobcats host NC A&T inside the Convocation Center.
Ohio is back on the road on Friday, Nov. 13 when the Bobcats head to West Lafayette, Ind. to take on Purdue inside Mackey Arena. The Bobcats and Boilermakers last saw each during Boals' first season when Purdue made the trip to Athens in 2019. Ohio's last trip to Mackey was Dec. 20, 2018.
