On their way to a third consecutive National League Championship Series appearance, the Los Angeles Dodgers controlled the Atlanta Braves at the most critical times.

With runners in scoring position during the four-game series, per OptaSTATS, Atlanta went just 1-for-23, equating to a .043 batting average.

That lack of production resulted in the second-lowest batting average with RISP in a postseason series in Major League Baseball history (minimum 20 at-bats with RISP), behind only the Dodgers when they were swept by the Baltimore Orioles in the 1966 World Series, going 0-for-22 with RISP.

Atlanta batters didn't fare much better overall, hitting just .145 against the Dodgers and averaging just two runs per game.
