Operation Justice Trail Achieves Significant July Arrests of Violent Offenders

In July, Operation Justice Trail successfully apprehended 96 individuals wanted for violent crimes. These arrests bring the total number of prior offenses associated with these individuals to 307. The initiative remains active and impactful. Since its commencement on May 1, 2025, the operation has detained 293 violent offenders, who collectively have over 1,600 previous arrests on their records. Dallas Police Chief Daniel C. Comeaux emphasized the operation's focus: "We are targeting violent criminals and removing them from our streets. Our collaboration with the US Marshal’s North Texas Fugitive Task Force ensures that offenders are tracked down regardless of where they attempt to hide." He added that the task force has successfully captured fugitives who fled to Dallas from other jurisdictions and apprehended felons who left Dallas to evade justice. The Department extends gratitude to Crime Stoppers for their ongoing support. They continue to offer a $1,000 reward through August 31 for tips leading to the arrest of violent felony suspects.
