A new auto store is all set to open its doors to Corry on Saturday.
After months of work and installation, O’Reilly Auto Parts on 827 N. Center Street will open on Sept. 26. It’s replacing the Rite Aid, the former lessee of the building.
“Corry’s a good area,” said O’Reilly Auto Parts District Manger Jim DiLuizio. “We’ve been looking at the town for a while for a store.”
DiLuzio’s daughter, Erica Thier, works at Corry Area High School, teaching advance placement classes for 11th and 12th grade.
The store is finishing its installation this week and will be holding its soft opening this weekend. The soft opening means the doors are open but it is not a grand opening.
The hours for this weekend will be 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. Sunday the store will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
“The grand opening will be announced at a later time and can sometimes be about a month away,” DiLuzio said.
