State Representative Kyle Moore invited residents of the 99th district to participate
QUINCY–Traffic snaked around the Oakley-Lindsay Center Saturday morning for State Representative Kyle Moore’s 99th district electronics recycling event that was held from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday.
Backups extended out onto the highway.
It was the strongest indication yet of the great need for such events.

He followed up with a second posting that read, “Due to our great turnout, if you have not reached 3rd and York by 11:15, you will be turned away.
“This is our first time providing this service to our community and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.”
Some drivers told Muddy River News that they were in line for two hours before reaching the hand-off location. Others put it around one hour and 45 minutes. Several said at other recycling events they had experienced a similar wait.
Quincy police were on location to help guide drivers.
