According to Mackenzie Roche from The Points Guy, American Airlines is partnering with Nest Bedding to provide upgraded comfort items, including pajamas and mattress toppers. Starting this month, select flights departing from Dallas Fort Worth, Philadelphia, Los Angeles International Airport, and John F. Kennedy International Airport will distribute these pajamas to business class travelers, with plans to introduce mattress toppers later in the year. Different airlines have adopted various strategies to improve sleep quality during flights. For instance, Qantas offers pajamas, duvets, and in-flight mattresses on international routes, while Lufthansa introduced new bedding and sleepwear options in 2018. As industry trends evolve, more carriers are focusing on elevating passenger comfort, making these amenities a potential new standard in premium air travel.
