Palm Springs Airport-Commissioned Study Finds PSP Generated Roughly $2.5B
According to the study, the airport's economic activities came from three primary sources.
PALM SPRINGS, CA — A Palm Springs International Airport-commissioned economic impact study revealed that the airport generated roughly $2.6 billion in economic output and supported more than 16,000 jobs last year.
"PSP is more than our community's gateway to the world. It is one of the Coachella Valley's most important economic engines," Victoria Carpenter, interim executive director of aviation at PSP, said in a statement "As we invest in the airport's future, we are also fueling jobs, local businesses and long-term opportunity in the Coachella Valley."
According to the study, the airport's economic activities came from three primary sources — airport services, capital investments and visitor spending.
