6 hours ago Graphic Created With Canva Panthers Vs. Falcons: 3 Things To Watch Both the Panthers and Falcons started the season with a loss. The Panthers fell to the Bears 59-37, while the Falcons lost to the Steelers 20-13. Let’s look at three things to watch in this matchup.
Jalen Coker and Tetairoa McMillan ‘s production Jalen Coker was a huge target for Bryce Young against the Chicago Bears. Coker had nine targets, eight receptions, 138 yards and two touchdowns.
As for Tetairoa McMillan, he had eight targets, five receptions and 75 yards.
If Coker can continue to be an elite target for Young, with McMillan having more yards and at least a touchdown, it will be a great sign for the Panthers, having a 1-2 punch with receivers.
The Panthers defense The Carolina Panthers allowed Chicago to score 59 points. 37 points should have been enough for the Panthers to win the game.
Granted, the Chicago Bears offense was incredible in the game.
However, if the Panthers want to maximize this talented offense, they will have to be better in the future. The Panthers can make a statement about their defensive ability by not giving Atlanta any easy offensive opportunities.
