Patricia Ann Marek, 86, of Pompano Beach, Florida, formerly of Peckville and Archbald, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2026.
Born April 23, 1940, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Patricia was the daughter of the late Stanley Prisco and Mary Tierney Prisco.
Patricia shared 65 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Walter Marek. Together they built a life centered around family, love, laughter, and many cherished memories.
Patricia was a graduate of St. Ann’s High School. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Carlo Acutis Parish, Olyphant, PA. For many years, Patricia worked in the business office at Mid Valley Hospital. Outside of work, she enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was a vibrant and socially active person who truly enjoyed life. Patricia had a wonderful knack for making friends wherever she went and for making those around her laugh.
Above all, Patricia’s greatest joy was her family, and she especially treasured being a grandmother to her five grandchildren. The time she spent with them brought her tremendous happines...
