Penn State Women’s Basketball Welcomes French Guard Téa Cleante for 2025-26 Season
Penn State women's basketball head coach Carolyn Kieger has announced the addition of Téa Cleante to the 2025-26 roster. The 5'9" guard from France brings extensive international experience, having competed at various youth levels for her country. "We are thrilled to welcome Téa to the Lady Lion family," Kieger stated. "She embodies a competitive spirit, possesses elite guard skills, and demonstrates a team-oriented approach that aligns perfectly with our program's culture. Her presence strengthens our already talented backcourt, adding depth, versatility, and resilience on both ends of the court. We look forward to working with her in Happy Valley." Throughout her career, Cleante has represented France in multiple age categories, including U16, U17, U18, and U19 teams. In 2022, she contributed to France's gold medal win at the U16 European Championships, averaging 12.3 points, 4.3 assists, and 2.4 rebounds per game with impressive efficiency.
