The 43rd Blueberries Consulting International Seminar took place on September 16, 2026, in Tangier, drawing strong participation from Moroccan and international players across the blueberry ecosystem.
The morning opened with welcome remarks from Jorge Esquivel (Blueberries Consulting), Youssef Bensajjy (ORMVA du Loukkos), Mohamed Amouri (Interproberries), Chile's ambassador to Morocco, and ProChile's commercial representative. Amine Bennani (Moroccan Association of Soft Fruit Growers) then gave an update on local production and marketing, followed by Cindy Van Rijswick (Rabobank) on global trade flows and consumption, and Álvaro Villalba (Hortifrut) on Morocco's competitive advantages and the strategic role of genetics in EMEA. Jorge Esquivel (Blueberries Consulting) closed the morning session with a technical talk on nutrient management as a production cornerstone.
