Tyrone police reported that Tyler Kensinger, 33, of Tyrone, was charged on Sept. 4 at 8:35 p.m. following an incident on the 1400 block of Blair Avenue. He is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and harassment. Officers initially responded to that location for a report of a domestic incident, at which time Kensinger was highly intoxicated, became agitated with officers and was uncooperative, kicking one of the officers. Kensinger was arraigned, and cash bail was set in the amount of $50,000. He is currently held in the Blair County Prison, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 15 before Magisterial District Judge Kevin Stoltz.
