If a person lives long enough, he or she will reach their 90th birthday. This was an event in my life just a few days ago. My wife and some friends helped me celebrate the occasion on Saturday, Sept. 5 by all of us dining at the El Jarocho Mexican Restaurant in Rome. After a delicious meal, we spent the night in the nearby Rome Hampton Inn. We were also celebrating the fourth wedding anniversary for Emily (nee O’Brien) and Jason Egnew and sixty-sixth for Louise and me.
The restaurant and hotel referred to above are located in the Griffiss Business and Technology Park.
