Postville City Council Approves Ordinance Dealing with E-Bikes and E-Scooters

The Postville City Council approved an ordinance dealing with E-Bikes and E-Scooters. The ordinance covers where they can go and the maximum speed they are allowed to go. The E-Bikes and E-Scooters will not be allowed in the downtown area.

The Council approved a resolution to execute a Homeland Management Grant of 60-thousand dollars towards the installation of new sirens in the city. The City is contributing nine-thousand to that project.

Barb Schissel resigned from the Pool, Park, and Rec Board and Clara Lensing resigned from the Library Board.

Mary Huinker was re-appointed to the Pool, Park, and Rec Board and the Council also approved the appointment of Brady Schultz, Bryan Mueller, and RJ Olson to the Pool, Park, and Rec Board
