Public Input Sought for 2026 Housing Agency Plan and Upcoming Public Hearing The Colorado Springs Housing Authority has announced the availability of its draft Annual Agency Plan for 2026, inviting community members to review and provide feedback. In accordance with the Federal Government's Quality Housing and Working Responsibility Act of 1998, the plan is accessible at the authority's office located at 831 S. Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs. The office operates during standard hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, from August 4th through September 17th, 2025. A public hearing to discuss the draft plan and gather community input will be held by the Housing Authority's Board of Commissioners at 2:30 PM on September 18th, 2025. Community members and program participants are encouraged to attend and share their comments. Written submissions are welcome at any time before the hearing via email to [email protected]. Residents participating in federal public housing and Section 8 rental assistance programs within El Paso County are especially encouraged to engage in the development and review of the 2026 plan.
