Reese's and Oreo Collaborate on Exciting New Cookie Creation
Brand collaborations can often be complex, especially when rival companies own products that consumers love to see combined. For years, fans of Oreo and Reese’s have been requesting a joint treat, but their wishes remained unfulfilled—until now. Recently, observant fans and social media influencers noticed that Reese’s and Oreo began following each other and commenting on posts, hinting at a possible partnership. Their suspicions were correct. The two brands have officially teamed up to introduce a new, innovative cookie, sparking excitement among fans.
Announced jointly on Instagram with a video featuring various influencer teasers, the collaboration is set for a limited launch starting September 2. Oreo, owned by Mondelēz International, and Reese’s, part of The Hershey Company, have created a unique product: the Reese’s Oreo Cup. This treat replaces the traditional chocolate shell of a Reese’s cup with Oreo’s signature milk chocolate and white creme, then fills it with peanut butter and Oreo cookie crumbs. Available in standard, king, and mini sizes, pre-orders will begin on August 18 via Hershey’s website.
