Tyler, Texas — Registration is open for the UT Health East Texas Breast Cancer Survivor Summit. The event will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 at Green Acres Baptist Church Crosswalk Conference Center in Tyler. This year’s theme is “Bloom Beyond the Battle.”
The summit will celebrate the strength and resilience of breast cancer survivors. The most common cancer diagnosed among U.S. women, breast cancer accounts for 32% of all newly diagnosed cancers in women, and more than 4 million women in the U.S. are living with a history of the disease, whether in treatment or survivorship.
