Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is scheduled to present two major reports from the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) during the opening day of the Monsoon Session of the Delhi Assembly. This session, the third of the eighth legislative assembly of the National Capital Territory, runs from August 4 to August 8, with the possibility of extension if needed. The reports include the CAG's assessment of the state's financial health for 2023–24 and an evaluation of welfare measures for construction workers up to March 31, 2023. These documents are expected to spark significant discussions, especially amid recent administrative and welfare issues.
Additionally, CM Gupta may also introduce the Finance Accounts and Appropriation Accounts for Delhi's government for 2023–24. A key focus will be the proposed Delhi School Education (Transparency in Fixation and Regulation of Fees) Bill, aimed at preventing arbitrary fee increases in private schools and ensuring compliance with educational directives.
