Research Teams Secure $1.2 Million from Department of Defense for Prostate Cancer Study

Leading researchers from UIC, Northwestern University, and Moffitt Cancer Center have jointly received a $1.2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Defense Prostate Cancer Research Program. The award, including the prestigious Data Science Award, aims to advance prostate cancer research through innovative data analysis approaches. The grant supports the work of scientists Charles Gaber, Natalie Reizine, Todd Lee, Lucia Petito, and Jessica Islam in their ongoing efforts to improve understanding and treatment of prostate cancer.
